Privacy Policy
Let’s be honest most privacy policies are written by lawyers, for lawyers. This one isn’t. We wrote it to actually be read, because we think you deserve to know in plain language what happens when you visit our blog.
We run a general-interest blog at thewellorganics.com covering topics like business, technology, gaming, law, health, fitness, travel, and more. Our goal is to publish content that’s genuinely useful. We’re not a data company. We’re not selling what we know about you. We just want to run a good blog and be transparent about how it operates.
Information you give us directly If you contact us through a form, subscribe to our newsletter, or leave a comment, you’re sharing information voluntarily usually just your name and email. We don’t ask for more than we need.
Information collected automatically When you visit any website, some technical data is exchanged automatically. We may receive your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you visited, how long you stayed, and where you came from (a search engine, a social media link, etc.). We use this to understand what content people find useful not to identify you personally.
Cookies Yes, we use cookies. Some are essential (without them, the site doesn’t work properly). Others are analytical they help us see how readers navigate the blog so we can improve it. If we run ads, those ad networks may also place their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, though some features may work differently if you do.
Here’s the full picture of what we actually do with your information:
- Keep the website running and improve the reading experience
- Respond to messages and questions you send us
- Send newsletters to people who’ve signed up for them (and only them)
- Understand which articles readers find most helpful
- Display advertising that helps fund the blog
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with third parties except where it’s necessary to run the site (like an email platform that sends our newsletter, or an analytics service that processes traffic data on our behalf).
The Well Organics uses a handful of external services to function things like Google Analytics to understand traffic, Google AdSense to display ads, and possibly an email marketing tool to send newsletters. These services have their own privacy policies and their own relationship with your data. We choose reputable providers, but we’d encourage you to look up their policies directly if you want the full picture.
We may also publish affiliate links more on that in our Disclaimer. Those affiliate networks may track clicks for commission purposes.
Depending on where you live, you have rights when it comes to your personal data. You can ask us what data we hold about you, request that we correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter any time every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your data, you’re entitled to raise it with the appropriate data protection authority in your country.
